Rivermead View Care Home in East Looe, Cornwall, is seeking a Night Healthcare Assistant (Enhanced) to join our dedicated night team. This on-site role provides compassionate, person-centred care during the night and supports the Night Coordinator.

Enhanced duties include medication administration (training permitting) and mentoring colleagues to uphold safe, high-quality care. You will help residents feel safe, valued and independent through night-time care, welfare checks, and timely reporting

Qualifikationen

• Must have Care Certificate and prior care experience.
• Experience with dementia or complex care is desirable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Aufgaben

• Provide compassionate personal care and emotional support during night shifts.
• Carry out welfare checks and monitor residents’ health and safety.
• Assist with medication administration after training and sign-off, if qualified.
• Mentor new staff and support the Night Coordinator to run the shift smoothly.
• Promote dignity, respect and independence for residents at night.
