Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Bath is seeking a Night Receptionist to provide courteous and efficient service to guests during the night shift, greeting guests warmly and handling requests with professionalism.

You will work in a busy team, deliver high standards of service, and enjoy flexible hours on a zero-hour contract, with staff discounts and career progression opportunities through Axiom Hospitality.

Qualifications

• Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry.
• Previous experience as a receptionist is preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to understand our guests’ needs to create exceptional service experiences, that result in lasting memories.
• Excellent personal presentation.
• Ability to function independently with a minimum of supervision.
• You are a night owl, comfortable working during the night time.
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• To be an enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• To be totally guest focused by consistently delivering excellent customer service with an informed, friendly and effective approach;
• To gain experience in all sections of the front desk department and ensure company and legal requirements are maintained;
• Assist in the general running of the hotel at night and support other departments in setting up for the next day;
• To continuously improve the quality of the hotel's services;
• To undertake night audits and hotel safety checks to make sure everyone in our hotel is safe and looked after;
• To be confident in all aspects of guest relations, receiving and recognising all guests, including those who require special attention;
• To promote the company values and behaviours at all times.
• The ideal person for this role will be enthusiastic about change, focused on details and trusting.
