The Peninsula London is delighted to announce that we are seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor (Nights) to supervise our Room Service Department during night shifts. This position is primarily responsible for supervising each night service and taking dining orders from guests. The Room Service experience is crucial to guest satisfaction, providing unobtrusive yet high-quality dining service within guests' private rooms.

Having extensive knowledge of the menu and ingredients, and the ability to interact with guests to provide friendly and tailored service, are essential skills. Guests often choose to relax in their rooms or enjoy the privacy of In Room Dining without compromising on service standards expected from The Peninsula Hotels.

Key Accountabilities

1. Responsible for all activities related to order-taking service at night, including preparation, delegation, training, and maintaining high-performance levels. Use the POS (Point of Sale) system for orders and guest preferences.
2. Be knowledgeable of all food and beverage items and ingredients, with a focus on allergens, to discuss with guests as required.
3. Provide consistent service, participate in product awareness, training activities, and tastings. Often involved in training the team.
4. Receive and act on guest feedback appropriately.
5. Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all in-room dining equipment, including health and safety compliance, and ensure products are of high quality.

General Requirements

• Good knowledge of food and beverage with experience in Room Service and/or Restaurant service within a hotel environment preferred.
• Hospitality-related training required.
• Friendly, positive, and confident in leading a team.
• Excellent time management, organization, and adaptability.
• Flexibility and capability to work under pressure.
• This role requires working night shifts based on operational needs; willingness to work during these hours is essential.
