Delta Hotels by Marriott Waltham Abbey is seeking a dedicated Night Front Desk Supervisor to lead our overnight team, ensure warm guest welcomes, and maintain a safe, smooth operation throughout the night.

You will manage night audit procedures, handle check-ins and check-outs, arrange alternative accommodation when needed, and monitor security and safety across the hotel while addressing guest concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a night/front desk team in hospitality.
• Proven ability to handle guest requests and maintain safety.
• Familiarity with night audit processes and security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day front desk operation overnight, ensuring procedures are followed.
• Lead the night team and greet guests with a warm welcome while maintaining a safe environment.
• Ensure night audit procedures are completed and discrepancies addressed.
• Handle check-ins/check-outs and arrange alternative accommodation when overbooking occurs.
• Maintain hotel security and document routine patrols and safety concerns.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to the manager.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and log them accurately.
• Comply with fire, health & safety regulations and emergency procedures.

Responsibilities:

Here’s what your journey with us entails:

• Manage the day to day front desk operation overnight, ensuring procedures are adhered to and policies are followed
• Leading the team on nights, ensuring that our guests are greeted with a warm welcome and ensure a safe and secure environment overnight for both guests and associates
• Ensure that night audit procedures are completed and any discrepancies rectified
• Process any check-in and check-outs, arrange alternative accommodation for guests should an overbooking situation arise
• Ensure the security of the hotel and guests through regular documented patrols throughout the night
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns
• Ensure all guest complaints are resolved in a timely manner and logged correctly
• Be fully conversant with all statutory fire, legal, bomb, health and safety procedures and to take control in the event of an emergency
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation

Safety and Company Policies:

• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
• Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to the manager
• Complete safety training and certifications
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
• Communicate with others using clear and professional language
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
• Support the team to reach common goals
• Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
