Job summary

Bupa's Richmond Village in London is seeking a Domiciliary Care Assistant to support residents with personal care in their homes and within the village. You will join a team delivering person-centred care across domiciliary, residential, nursing and dementia care, with a thorough induction and ongoing training.

The role includes night shifts (21:00–07:00) on a rota, DBS check and uniform provided, and access to wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care or dementia setting, or Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Passionate about caring for others, respecting choices, and safety first.
• Great listener with positive outlook and confident talking to residents and families.
• Confidentiality is important and you can lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care such as bathing, dressing and continence in their own homes within the Village.
• Provide care with dignity and independence; support at mealtimes; assist walking, transferring with wheelchair or hoist.
• Promote physical and mental activity through hobbies and activities.
• Answer emergency calls when care alert system is activated.
• Coordinate with the Domiciliary Care Manager and external professionals when appropriate.
• Administrative duties: maintain accurate records and documentation of care given and changes to health.
