Job summary

Platform Housing Group is seeking a Night Concierge for Heenan Court, Worcester. The role involves providing night concierge and cleaning services to a 19-unit residence, ensuring resident safety and building security, and performing communal area cleaning.

This is a fixed-term contract until 26 February 2027 with part-time hours (10.5 per week) including paid sleep-ins. The position requires a confident, lone-working individual with strong interpersonal skills and experience in customer-facing

Qualifications

• Awareness of working with vulnerable adults would be desirable.
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment.
• Great interpersonal skills and experience communicating with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience in a customer-facing role in housing.
• Willingness to deliver high standards and improve services.
• Comfortable with lone-working while part of a wider team.
• Must have a driving licence and access to own vehicle; based in Worcestershire.
• Enhanced DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide night concierge and cleaning service.
• Ensure safety of residents and security for the building.
• Clean communal areas and complete other tasks when not busy.
• Work predominantly as a solo worker with occasional handovers and team meetings.
