Job summary

Campsie View Care Home in Kirkintilloch is seeking a Clinical Unit Manager to lead the day-to-day clinical operation of your unit, guiding nurses and care teams to ensure high standards of person-centred care.

You will monitor clinical governance, medication management and care planning, while mentoring colleagues and ensuring compliance across the unit. A registered nurse with an active NMC PIN is essential for this leadership role.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active NMC PIN.
• Previous nursing experience within a care home or healthcare environment.
• Experience leading, supervising or managing teams within a clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of medication management and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical operations for your unit and support nurses and care teams to deliver safe, effective and person-centred care.
• Monitor clinical governance, compliance and maintain high standards of care delivery.
• Support medication management, care planning and clinical decision making.
• Mentor colleagues and ensure staff meet regulatory requirements and organisational standards.

Clinical Unit Manager Contract

• £21.42 per hour
• Full Time
• Paid PVG, pension and uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
