Job summary

Alor Healthcare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to take a clinical leadership role at Hillside Lodge Care Home in Berwick-upon-Tweed. You will lead day-to-day clinical activity, support nurses and care teams, and ensure safe, person-centred care while overseeing medication management and care planning.

Ideal candidates hold an active NMC PIN, with prior care home experience, strong clinical knowledge, and a collaborative leadership style.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with active NMC PIN is essential.
• Experience in care home or similar healthcare environment is essential.
• Strong clinical knowledge with confidence in medication management, care planning and clinical decision making.
• Experience mentoring or guiding colleagues in a clinical environment is beneficial.
• Good understanding of clinical standards, compliance and delivering safe person-centred care.

Job description

Working closely with the Home Manager and wider leadership team, you will provide day to day clinical leadership while supporting nurses and care teams to deliver safe, effective and person centred care. From overseeing medication management and supporting care planning to monitoring clinical standards, mentoring colleagues and ensuring best practice is consistently maintained, your leadership will directly influence the quality of care residents receive.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse who is ready to take the next step into a clinical leadership position. Whether you are currently working as a Registered Nurse, Night Charge Nurse or already hold clinical leadership experience, your confidence, expertise and ability to support others will help create a safe, supportive and well led environment where both residents and colleagues can thrive.,

• £24.00 per hour
• 33 hours per week , 1 Supernumary , 2 Clinical Shifts per week
• Paid DBS, pension and uniform provided
