The Oakleaf Group are seeking a Night Clinical Lead (RGN/RMN/RNLD) at Hilltop House, Hartwell, Northampton. You will oversee night-time clinical care as the on-site senior decision maker, ensuring safety and high-quality care for residents with neurological rehabilitation needs.

The role requires management experience, strong governance, and the ability to coordinate medicines and liaise with external professionals to provide consistent, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with management experience.
• Current NMC PIN.
• Good judgement, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee night-time clinical care as on-site senior decision maker.
• Work with the Deputy Clinical Manager to maintain high standards of care and safety.
• Communicate patient information to families and professionals while keeping confidentiality.
• Carry out MCA processes and ensure adherence to policies, safeguarding, and CQC.
• Order and monitor medications; liaise with external Health Care Professionals as needed.
• Manage non-qualified staff and coordinate nursing staff during night shifts.

Rate: £23.34 per hour

The Oakleaf Group are currently recruiting for a full time, experienced Night Clinical Lead.

About the Service - The Oakleaf Group

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established multi disciplinary team working within the field of acquired brain injury. The Oakleaf Group currently caters for a male client base specialising in neurological rehabilitation across various sites.

This role is at our Hilltop House site at Hartwell in Northampton, currently rated as Outstanding by CQC.

Working for this Leading Care Provider you will be instrumental in the provision of care and therefore it is desirable that you have a proven track record working in a similar position within the care sector.

The Night Clinical lead is responsible for overseeing clinical care and making critical decisions during night shifts, acting as the senior decision maker on site. They will provide a high quality, safe, supportive environment in order to care for residents within this specialist area meeting the identified physical, mental and social care needs.

The Role

As a Night Clinical Lead - Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) you will :

• Work alongside the Deputy Clinical manager to ensure high standards of care, treatment and the safety of residents
• Be involved in assessment, planning and evaluating care.
• Communicate information accurately on patient care to the patient, families, internal and external professionals, including commissioners whilst maintaining confidentiality and adhering to the principles of Information Governance
• Carry out MCA processes
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, safeguarding protocols and CQC compliance
• Order and monitor medications for residents Where necessary, refer residents and liaise with external Health Care Professionals
• effectively manage non-qualified staff and additional responsibilities for the liaison and management of qualified Nursing staff.

This is not an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities. The post holder may be required to undertake other duties following appropriate discussion with their line manager.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RGN/ RMN/RNLD) with management experience
• Current NMC PIN
• Possess good judgement, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work flexible hours
