Job summary

Gregory Distribution Ltd is hiring a Class 1 Night Trunk Driver for Pallet Networks, Heathfield. You will trunk from Heathfield to Birmingham, reload, and return, with night shifts Monday to Friday and opportunities for overtime.

You will complete daily vehicle checks and work with the transport team to support efficient operations. The role requires a UK Class 1 CE Licence, a DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card, a customer‑focused approach, and the ability to work to deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must hold UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
• Confident, polite, and a team player.
• Good geographical knowledge.
• Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Trunking from Heathfield to Birmingham, reloading, and returning to Heathfield.
• Providing cover for internal trunking operations when required.
• Loading and unloading the vehicle while ensuring all loads are secure and compliant.
• Completing daily vehicle checks using your company-issued mobile device.
• Working closely with the network hubs to support efficient operations.
• Maintaining regular communication with the transport team to provide progress updates and help manage customer expectations.
• Attending scheduled training sessions to support ongoing development and compliance.
