Job summary

Boughey Distribution is seeking drivers for our Crewe site on the Day shift, 5 on 3 off, delivering across Cheshire and surrounding areas.

You will perform vehicle checks, ensure safe deliveries, and assist in yard operations. CPC and tachograph card are required; Class 1 experience is essential.

We offer weekly pay (£18.50/hr), 33 days holiday, funded training, pension, and additional staff benefits.

Qualifications

• CPC and tachograph card required to operate legally.
• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential.
• Excellent communication skills to handle customer queries and work with on-site Boughey team.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle checks at start and end of each shift, complying with driving rules.
• Ensure safe and prompt delivery of goods across Cheshire and surrounding areas.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions, secure loads, assist in yard with handball or pump truck deliveries.
