Job summary

Boughey Distribution Limited is seeking a Class 1 Driver Nights to join our Crewe team. You will perform routine vehicle checks, ensure safe and timely deliveries across Cheshire and surrounding areas, and assist in yard operations as required.

The role offers night shifts with flexible start times and a strong benefits package. Ideal candidates hold a Category C&E license, CPC and tachograph cards, and have previous Class 1 driving experience.

Qualifications

• A valid Category C&E license is essential.
• Current CPC and tachograph card required with knowledge of driver hours regulations.
• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential.
• Excellent communication skills for on-site teamwork and customer deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift in line with HGV rules.
• Ensure safe, prompt delivery of goods across Cheshire and surrounding areas.
• Manoeuvre trucks into loading/unloading positions, secure loads, and assist in yard duties as needed.
