Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking an ambitious Chef to join 14Forty on a permanent casual basis contracted to 0 hours per week. You will prepare and serve high-quality food, oversee menu changes, and help shape creative concepts while upholding brand standards.

Shifts are nights from Tuesday to Friday, with opportunities for progression and development within a market-leading group that values its people and rewards excellence.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent required.
• Food Hygiene certificate required.
• Experience supervising a team in a kitchen environment.
• Experience in a similar Chef role.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights clients and customers.
• Overseeing and implementing menu changes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve food services.
• Listening and acting on customer feedback to improve services.
• Supporting creation of new menus and concepts.
• Representing the brand and maintaining a positive image.
• Monitoring inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked.
• Overseeing kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
• Complying with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations.

Education
