Qualifications

Job description

The Chancery Rosewood – opening in Summer 2025, a Rosewood Hotel Group property – is housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. It will include 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, alongside a variety of dining and entertainment spaces: providing a stage for progressive ideas, voices, and expression.

We are looking for a Night Chef de Partie to join our opening culinary team—someone with strong technical skills, a calm presence, and a commitment to excellence during the quietest hours of the day. As Night Chef de Partie, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the preparation and service of dishes throughout the night shift. From late-night orders to early breakfast mise en place, you’ll maintain the same level of care, quality, and consistency as during peak hours. Working closely with our In Room Dining and Night teams, you’ll ensure that our guests receive seamless, elevated service no matter the hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes during the night shift

  • Maintain mise en place for breakfast and early service

  • Uphold hygiene, health and safety standards, ensuring full compliance

  • Monitor and manage stock and prep levels for overnight service

  • Collaborate with the In Room Dining team to fulfil guest orders efficiently

  • Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold Rosewood’s culinary standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef in a luxury or high-end kitchen

  • Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, and allergen control

  • Calm, reliable, and self-sufficient with excellent time management skills

  • A flexible, team-oriented approach and a pride in delivering high standards

  • Willingness to work exclusively night shifts, including weekends and holidays
