Job summary

Edwardian Hotels London is recruiting a Night Chef for the May Fair’s Food Production team. You will prepare and cook high-quality dishes for overnight operation and ensure impeccable presentation, taste and quality. You’ll work independently during night hours, maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a chef in a quality hotel, restaurant, or similar hospitality environment.
• Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility during night hours.
• Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards.
• Organised, reliable and calm under pressure.
• Pride in the quality and presentation of food.
• Positive, flexible approach and team player.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes for overnight operation.

• Minimise waste and ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.

We are currently recruiting for a Night Chef to join our Food Production team at The May Fair.

Overview

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes for our overnight food operation.
• Deliver consistently excellent presentation, taste and quality.
• Ensure guest orders are prepared efficiently and to our exacting standards.
• Complete food preparation for the following day’s operation as required.
• Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards.
• Manage your section confidently and effectively during quieter periods.
• Work closely with our Night and Food & Beverage teams to provide a seamless guest experience.
• Minimise waste and ensure ingredients are stored and handled correctly.

About You

• Has previous experience working as a Chef within a quality hotel, restaurant or similar hospitality environment.
• Is comfortable working independently and taking responsibility during night hours.
• Has excellent knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards.
• Is organised, reliable and calm under pressure.
• Takes genuine pride in the quality and presentation of their food.
• Has a positive, flexible approach and enjoys being part of a team.
• Is happy and able to work overnight shifts.
