Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a Night Care Team Manager for Melwood Grange in Royston to lead a dedicated night shift team in a 73-bed home, delivering compassionate care with dignity. The role is a part-time maternity cover offering 10 hours per week, with night hours from 9:30pm to 7:30am and alternate weekends at enhanced weekend rates.

You will drive care standards, support residents’ wellbeing, and ensure smooth operation of the home.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Substantial experience with older people in a residential care setting.
• Passion for leading and delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Home and all its services function in line with policy and standards, including shift leadership.
• Promote dignity, privacy and independence of residents.
• Ensure health and safety standards in domestic tasks within the home.
• Comply with Equal Opportunities policy and procedures.
• Lead the care team from the front and maximise quality of life for residents.
• Maintain day-to-day efficiency of the home.
