Job summary

Quantum Care in Royston is seeking a Night Care Team Manager to lead a dedicated team in our Melwood Grange care home. The role focuses on compassionate leadership, resident wellbeing, and maintaining high standards of care during night shifts.

You will oversee a 73-bed facility, drive service excellence, and support staff through shifts with a hands-on management style. A strong commitment to quality and dignity is essential.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care is essential.
• Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care is desirable.
• Substantial experience with older people in residential care and a passion for leading and delivering outstanding care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Home and all its services function per company policy and National Care Standards, including managing the home during a shift.
• Undertake care and housekeeping duties while promoting dignity and independence of residents.
• Ensure domestic tasks meet health and safety standards.
• Comply with Equal Opportunities policy and procedures.
• Lead the care team from the front.
• Maximise quality of life for residents and maintain day-to-day home efficiency.
