Job summary

Shaw healthcare is seeking a Night Team Leader for Figbury Lodge in Poole. You will lead the night care team to ensure safe, high-quality, person-centred care for residents with frailty and dementia. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration with night staff, and maintaining care standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it).
• Experience leading or mentoring colleagues in a care setting.
• Experience in residential care for older people.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support the care team to deliver person-centred care.
• Promote best practice at all times.
• Safely administer and record medication per policy.
• Monitor residents' health and wellbeing and report concerns.
• Build positive relationships with residents, relatives and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate care plans and documentation.
