Job summary

Agincare is seeking an experienced Care Team Leader for The Croft Care Home in Amersham. You will lead by example, delivering high-quality care and companionship to residents and supporting them with daily living.

With at least 2 years in social care and a minimum 12 months' right to work in the UK, you will oversee medication, mentor the team, plan activities, and collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure residents thrive.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ right to work in the UK.
• At least 2 years’ experience in social care.
• 42 hours per week (night shifts).
• Availability to work alternate weekends.
• Company pension and fully funded training up to QCF Level 5.
• On-demand pay is available.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, providing high-quality care and companionship.
• Support residents with personal care and daily living.
• Encourage independence and wellbeing.
• Plan and take part in meaningful activities and outings.
• Oversee medication administration and accurate record-keeping.
• Work closely with families and healthcare professionals.
• Support and guide the care team, stepping up in the absence of senior management.
