Job summary

Agincare is recruiting a Care Team Leader for Fulford Care & Nursing Home in Littlehampton. This on-site role involves leading a care team, delivering high-quality personal care and companionship, and promoting residents’ independence and wellbeing. The post is maternity cover and requires 12 months' UK work rights alongside 2+ years in social care.

Shifts include nights, with a 48-hour week. The employer offers funded training up to QCF Level 5, pension, and a refer-a-friend scheme.

Qualifications

• 12 months’ right to work in the UK
• At least 2 years’ experience in social care
• QCF Level 2 (or above)
• 48 hours per week (Night shifts)
• Position is maternity cover
• Availability to work alternate weekends

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, providing high-quality care and companionship
• Support residents with personal care and daily living
• Encourage independence and wellbeing
• Plan and take part in meaningful activities and outings
• Oversee medication administration and accurate record-keeping
• Work closely with families and healthcare professionals
• Support and guide the care team, stepping up in the absence of senior management
