Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, dedicated Team Leader for Night shifts at Acer Court Care Home in Nuthall, Nottinghamshire. You will support the home management team to deliver safe, person-centred care, guiding staff and maintaining an open, inclusive environment for residents and visitors.

Ideally, you will hold NVQ level 3 in care, have two years in a senior role, and demonstrate strong communication and leadership. DBS check will be completed; eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
• Two years' experience in a senior role with residents.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Proven ability to lead staff and act in absence of the manager.

Responsibilities

• Support the home management team in delivering high-quality care.
• Lead in the person-centred care planning process and audits.
• Assist with discharges, documentation, and keeping families informed.
• Monitor resident well-being and ensure safety systems of work.
