Job summary

Care South is seeking a Night Care Team Leader at Castle Dene in Bournemouth. The role involves leading a night care team, planning high-quality resident care, and supervising night staff while ensuring medication administration is carried out safely.

The ideal candidate will have NVQ3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) and be competent in medication administration. This is a night shift role with weekend alternates and a pro-rata salary up to £33,370 per annum.

• Medication administration competence essential.
• Experience leading a night shift team is desirable.

Role: Night Care Team Leader

Location: Castle Dene, Throop Road, Bournemouth, BH8 0DB

Pay: Up to £33,370 per annum (Pro-rata)

Hours: 12 hours per week with the option for overtime

Shift Pattern: 19:00 – 07:00 (including alternate weekends)

You’ll have completed an NVQ3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) and be fully competent in medication administration.

What you will be doing:

• Plan and manage delivery of quality care to our residents
• Managing the safety and supervision of night staff
• Ensure your team are supported and have guidance throughout their shift.
• Administration of medication to residents.
• Liaising with external medical professionals and resident’s families.
• Ensuring care is delivered to the highest standards in line with Care South values.
