Job summary

Care South seeks a Senior Care & Support Assistant - Days at Kenwith Castle Residential Home in Bideford. The role focuses on leading care teams, delivering person-centred care, and promoting independence for residents.

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is encouraged, with strong communication and leadership expected. You’ll supervise Care Assistants, tailor care plans, and escalate concerns as needed, within a supportive, HEART-values driven environment.

Qualifications

Role: Senior Care & Support Assistant - Days

Location: Kenwith Castle Residential Home, Bideford EX39 5BE

Pay: £13.80 per hour

Hours: Full Time, Part Time & Bank

Shift Pattern: 07:00 – 19:00, to include alternate weekend working

Are you a dedicated individual who can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, and lead by example to support and motivate our care teams?

You should have prior experience in care, including care planning and medication administration and hold, or be happy to work towards an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
