Job summary

Crystal Care Collection Limited is seeking a dedicated Night Care Manager to lead the night care team and uphold the highest standards of care, safety, and resident wellbeing. Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care required.
• Experience as a Senior Care Assistant, Team Leader or similar leadership role in a residential or nursing setting.
• Ability to lead a team and make decisions independently during night shifts.
• Experience administering medication and keeping care records accurate.
• Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the safe and effective running of the home during the night, acting as person in charge outside office hours.
• Lead, coach and support the night care team to deliver person-centred care.
• Deliver and oversee high-quality personal care per care plans, promoting dignity and independence.
• Act as a Key Worker for allocated residents and update care plans as needs change.
• Safely administer, order and record medication per policies and regulations.
• Monitor residents’ wellbeing and escalate concerns as needed.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals and on-call management to ensure continuity of care.
• Supervise and develop Senior Care Assistants and Care Assistants to uphold standards.
• Support induction, coaching and development of new staff.
• Complete audits, quality checks and supervisory tasks as required.
• Support residents’ emotional, social and wellbeing needs; encourage meaningful engagement.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with H&S, COSHH, infection prevention and safeguarding.
