Shaw healthcare in Greenhill Care Home, Crickhowell, Powys, is seeking a passionate Support Worker to provide person-centred care and assist residents with daily living tasks at a dementia-focused home.

No prior experience is required; full training and ongoing support are provided, with opportunities for development. The role includes night shifts, a supportive team, and a caring environment designed to enhance residents’ quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Providing person-centred care in line with an individual’s care plan
• Offering personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene
• Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents
• Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion
• Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting your colleagues in day-to-day duties
• Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment
