Job summary

Shaw healthcare, based in Stourbridge, is hiring a compassionate Support Worker for Hollybush House, a 24-bed respite and rehabilitation unit for older people with dementia. You will work 36 hours per week with night shifts from 20:00 to 08:00, and full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Providing person-centred care in line with an individual’s care plan
• Offering personal care, including bathing, dressing and hygiene
• Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents
• Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion
• Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting colleagues in day-to-day duties
