Night Care & Support Assistant

Location: Dorset House Residential Home, Hamworthy, BH15 4HL

Pay rate: £12.50 to £12.75 per hour + paid breaks

Shift: 19.45 to 08.00

Hours: Full time & Part Time available (including alternate weekends)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Care & Support Assistant to join our care team at Dorset House, a caring and friendly residential care home near Upton Country Park and Poole Quay, located in Hamworthy, Poole, BH15 4HL.

Who we are looking for:

Dorset House is keen to meet individuals with a genuine desire to positively impact the lives of our residents. You should be naturally compassionate and understanding of others. Previous care experience is not essential; we welcome applicants from customer care roles or community helpers. A full induction and training programme will be provided.

What you will be doing:

1. Delivering excellent person-centred care, focusing on the individual needs of each resident with dignity and compassion.
2. Following care plans and supporting residents with washing, dressing, toileting, food, drink, and mobility.
3. Building relationships and providing companionship to enhance residents' wellbeing.
4. Supporting residents to remain as independent as possible.
5. Working as part of a team to create a safe, warm, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
