Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Night Senior Carer to oversee a care home team and support the clinical staff in medication, assessments, and care plans. You will lead and motivate Care Assistants, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care every night.

We value warm, compassionate individuals who respect residents’ dignity and preferences, with ongoing training provided to advance into further nursing or care practitioner roles.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care required.
• Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
• Opportunity for ongoing training and career development.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Ensure residents receive person-centred care with dignity and respect.
