Job summary
Barchester Care Home is seeking a Night Shift Senior Carer to supervise a dedicated team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. The role focuses on leading the night team and supporting the clinical team with medication management, resident assessments, care plans and reviews for older residents.
Training and progression routes are offered, with a clear path to roles such as Care Practitioner, Regional Carer or nursing positions, reflecting a strong commitment to career
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care is required to apply.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
- Look after residents' varied needs, delivering person-centred care and support.
- Support the clinical team with medication management.
- Support the clinical team with resident assessments.
- Support the clinical team with care plans.
- Support the clinical team with care reviews.
- Respect the dignity and preferences of residents.
- Help create a warm, welcoming and vibrant care environment.
