Job summary

Prime Life is seeking a Night Support Worker to join Firlands Nursing and Residential Home in the Braunstone area of Leicester. You’ll provide companionship and practical support during night hours, helping residents with daily living and promoting dignity.

Shifts run 8pm–8am across a 7-day week. Benefits include a fully funded DBS, holiday pay, progression opportunities, and a Refer a Friend scheme up to £250. Full training is provided, prior care experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• Genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference for residents.
• Prior experience as a Support worker or Care Assistant is desirable but full training is provided.
• Residents may have age-related, physical and mental health needs requiring dignified support.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging residents to achieve the highest possible quality of life that is right for them.
• Providing companionship whilst giving emotional and practical support.
• Assisting residents to participate in decisions relating to daily living arrangements.
• Assisting residents with personal care and recreational activities.
• Assisting residents to retire for the evening and enjoy a comfortable night’s sleep.
• Promoting resident independence in meal preparation or at mealtimes.
• Working with other professionals to provide individualized care plans.
