Job summary

Meallmore in Inverness is seeking a Night shift Care Assistant to provide 24-hour personalised care in a private care home. You will support residents, assist with daily activities and work to Meallmore standards and SSSC codes of practice.

The role offers mentorship, development opportunities and options for full or part-time night shifts with overtime rates, staff benefits and pension contributions. Flexible progression paths exist within the team.

Qualifications

Willing to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
SVQ level 2 or above/equivalent in Health and Social Care is desirable.
Good communication and rapport-building skills.
Kind, caring nature and a passion for quality care.

Responsibilities

To promote/provide a high quality of care and support in accordance with Individual care/support plans.
To assist in creating wellbeing within a caring environment and be involved in the general activities of the home.
To adhere to Meallmore Standards, Policies and Procedures, National Care Standards.
To work in line with the SSSC codes of Practice.
Collaborate with care staff in your department and wider teams.
Carry out personal care duties.
