Job summary

Meallmore's Redwoods Care Home in Alness is offering a Care Assistant role. You will help residents with daily living, including washing, dressing and meals, delivering compassionate support and companionship.

The position is full-time at 34.5 hours per week with a £13.50 per hour rate and overtime opportunities. We provide competitive benefits and fully fund SVQ Level 2 or higher in Health and Social Care, supporting your development within a supportive team focused on dignity and respect for

Qualifications

• Naturally caring and kind by nature.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Patience and empathy when dealing with residents.
• Ability to work well independently or as part of a team.
• SVQ level 2 or above in Health and Social Care; fully funded by us.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with washing, dressing and mealtimes as part of daily living.
• Promote residents' independence and well-being.
• Monitor health conditions and liaise with relatives and colleagues.
• Support residents in social activities and learn what matters to them as individuals.
