Responsibilities

• Provide care under the direction of the Senior Carer/Nurse
• Support service users to maintain skills and personal interests with person-centred care
• Maintain current skills and undertake training/development as required
• Ensure service users are at the heart of care delivery and their wishes are respected
• Contribute to the efficient running of the service
• Support service users to maintain relationships with the local community
• Ensure care plans and information about support are followed
• Be responsible for informing changes in service users' needs to the Senior Carer/Nurse
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of those supported
