Job summary

St Elizabeth's Centre is seeking a Night Care Assistant to support children aged 5–19 in a calm, safe overnight setting. You will provide personal care with dignity, monitor wellbeing, and help maintain a peaceful home.

The role involves rotating night shifts, training support, and working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure each child feels secure while they sleep. Prior care experience is welcomed; full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide personal care with dignity.
• Willing to complete Care Certificate within 6 months.
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (if not already held).

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care during the night.
• Monitor wellbeing and administer personal care with dignity.
• Respond calmly to incidents, illness, or distress.
• Maintain tidy, peaceful, and safe living environments.
• Keep accurate night-time care logs and records.
• Work with education, healthcare, and therapy colleagues.
