Avery Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to work night shifts at Acer Court Care Home in Nuthall. You will support the care team in providing personal care, promoting residents' dignity and independence, and ensuring safe, continuous care.

No prior experience is required as induction and training are provided; a DBS check and right to work in the UK are required. The employer covers the DBS cost, and opportunities for learning and development are available.

Qualifikationen

• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Show initiative and respect towards residents and others in the home.
• Work efficiently and follow reasonable instructions from team members.
• Adapt to different responsibilities and cover them at short notice.

Aufgaben

• Provide personal care to residents and contribute to continuity of care.
• Support residents with personal hygiene while promoting independence, dignity and respect.
• Identify risks including weight loss, pressure sores, falls and signs of infection, and report them promptly.
• Treat residents and visitors courteously and respect each resident's individuality.
• Follow safe working practices across the tasks undertaken.
• Work nights.
