Job summary

Agincare is seeking a Care Assistant for our Cheriton care home in Dorchester. No care experience is required as we provide fully funded training and progression paths with a 42-hour night contract and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• No experience needed – full training provided.
• Compassionate, patient and great with people.
• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK (we cannot currently offer sponsorship).
• Able to work alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents.
• Assist with medication administration and recording.
• Support residents with daily living activities and routines.
• Build meaningful relationships and provide companionship.
• Help enrich residents' lives through activities, hobbies, and social engagement.
• Promote residents' dignity, independence, and well-being.
• Work as part of a caring team to deliver outstanding person-centred care.
