Job summary

Prime Life are hiring Night Care Assistants at Oaklands Care Home in Leicester. Roles can be full or part-time, based at a home that serves residents with varied mental health needs, requiring compassionate, dignified support.

Shifts run 8pm–8am, seven days a week. Benefits include fully funded DBS, comprehensive holiday pay, and a Refer a Friend scheme up to £250. Training is provided to new staff.

Qualifications

• A genuine caring nature and a desire to make a real difference for residents.
• Prior experience as a Care Assistant or Support worker is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
• Willingness to work night shifts (8pm–8am) across a 7-day week.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with personal hygiene and preparing for bed.
• Carrying out routine welfare checks overnight to ensure safety.
• Support residents with meals to maintain nutrition and hydration.
• Encourage safe mobility with aids and equipment.
• Provide companionship and maintain written records.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to promote residents' health and well-being.
• Greet visiting family members and assist with enquiries.
