Job summary

Complete Care Amegreen, part of CCH, is seeking compassionate night support workers to join our Birmingham-based team, supporting three young clients aged 8–14 with tailored, person-centred care.

You’ll work up to five nights per week on a seven-day rota, with supervision from a Nurse, Care Coordinator and Client Manager, using iPad-based reporting; a full DBS check is provided and training is paid.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility for night support work.
• Excellent communication with young people, families and care teams.
• Willingness to learn Makaton if not already trained.
• Calm, confident, professional in all situations.
• Advocate for young people and be their voice when needed.
• Promote choice, independence, dignity and respect at all times.
• Understand each young person’s individual needs and communication style.
• Positive, bubbly personality that reassures during shifts.
• Balance warmth with professional boundaries.
• Respect cultural backgrounds and medical needs.
• Accurate, timely and factual record-keeping using digital systems (iPad).

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored, person-centred care to three young clients aged 8–14.
• Work as a flexible night support worker covering holidays and sickness for up to five nights per week.
• Record shifts and medical information on an iPad.
• Develop personalised communication approaches, including with nonverbal clients.
• Collaborate with Nurse, Care Coordinator and Client Manager.
