Job summary

Shaw Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Support Worker for Homefield House, a 24-bed dementia care home near Basingstoke. The role offers 24 hours per week with two night shifts (20:00–08:00), including some weekends. No prior experience required as full training and ongoing support are provided.

You will deliver person-centred care, assist with personal tasks, and maintain thorough care documentation, contributing to a safe, dignified living environment for residents.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Providing person-centred care in line with an individual’s care plan.
• Assisting with bathing, dressing and hygiene.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered (fluid/food intake, activities, incidents).
• Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion.
• Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting colleagues in day-to-day duties.
• Maintaining a safe, happy and caring environment.
