Job summary

Advantage Healthcare in Fetcham is seeking a compassionate complex care worker to support a child with cerebral palsy and a ventilated status at home. You will follow the care plan, manage tracheostomy and gastrostomy care, and provide daily suctioning in collaboration with a registered nurse.

You will join a nurse-supported team, receive full training and DBS cover, and have opportunities for progression within CCH UK.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a complex care setting.
• Experience in tracheostomy & gastrostomy care.
• Experience of looking after a ventilated child.
• Experience with suctioning.
• Experienced in catheter care.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a special care team delivering care to a child with cerebral palsy and global developmental delay.
• Follow the care plan which includes tracheostomy management and gastrostomy care.
• Provide ventilated child care with daily suctioning under supervision of a registered nurse.
