Job summary

Hill Care is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support residents in a residential home. You will assist with daily living activities, promote dignity, and participate in social activities while maintaining high standards of care.

Role requires good communication, teamwork, and a willingness to undertake mandatory training. A friendly, respectful approach to residents and colleagues is essential.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in working within a caring environment.

• Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes.
• Satisfactory Police Check and check against the POVA List (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide care to residents including daily living activities with dignity.
• Support physical, emotional and spiritual needs of residents.
• Assist residents with mobility and use of aids as required.
• Monitor residents and respond to needs promptly.
• Assist with meals, serving, and table setting.
• Promote continence and assist with personal care planning.
• Record daily notes in line with policies.
