Job summary

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in working within a caring environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

• Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes.
• Satisfactory Police Check and check against the POVA List (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Support Residents with daily living activities (washing, toileting, dressing).
• Assist Residents with physical, emotional and spiritual care.
• Support Residents with limited mobility using aids.
• Monitor Residents for confusion or behavioural issues.
• Assist with continence and meals.
• End-of-life care and last offices assistance as needed.
• Record daily care notes per policies and procedures.
• Support social activities and hobbies within the Care Home.
• Answer Nursecall, door and phone; pass messages promptly.
• Report on Residents’ well-being to senior staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of rooms and equipment.
