Job summary

Elizabeth Finn Homes Limited is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to deliver high-quality, personal care to residents at Eversfield Care Home in Reigate. You’ll work nights, supporting the dignity and independence of residents as part of our clinical and senior care team.

We offer a choice of full-time or part-time permanent contracts with alternating weekends. Applicants should have English proficiency, a Level 2 in Care (or willingness to obtain it), and a DBS check where required.

Qualifications

• Secondary school education with good numeracy and literacy.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Level 2 in Care (or willingness to work towards it).
• Experience caring for older people.
• Basic knowledge of Care Workers’ Codes of Practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care in line with care plans and procedures, documenting accurately.
• Report changes, concerns, incidents, or complaints promptly to senior staff.
• Support residents with social activities, routines, and meaningful engagement.
• Maintain a clean, safe, secure environment and ensure equipment is used/stored safely.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all policies; take responsibility for ongoing learning and development.
