Job summary

Elizabeth Finn Homes is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant (Days) for Eversfield Care Home in Reigate. You will deliver high-quality personal care to residents, working with the clinical and care teams to promote dignity and independence.

The role requires good numeracy and literacy, clear English communication, and care experience; permanent full-time or part-time contracts. The hourly rate is £13.82 with benefits; shifts include 12.25–36.75 hours with alternating weekends.

Qualifications

• Secondary school education with good numeracy and literacy.
• Clear spoken English communication.
• Level 2 in Care or willing to train towards it.
• Experience caring for older people.
• Basic knowledge of Care Workers’ Codes of Practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care in line with care plans and document accurately.
• Report changes, concerns, incidents, or complaints promptly to senior staff.
• Support residents with social activities, routines, and meaningful engagement.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and store equipment properly.
• Respect confidentiality and pursue ongoing learning.
