Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Care Assistant for the Nights shift at Droitwich Mews Care Home in Droitwich Spa. You will deliver high standards of personal care and support the care team to ensure continuity of services for residents.

No previous experience required as a thorough induction and training programme is provided; strong communication and respectful care of residents are essential. DBS check will be completed by Avery Healthcare.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care to residents and support the care team.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene while promoting independence, dignity and respect.
• Identify clinical risk areas (weight loss, pressure sores, falls, infections) and escalate promptly.
• Interact courteously with residents and visitors, maintaining dignity and individuality.
• Follow safe systems of work across tasks to ensure resident safety.
