Evermore Care Limited is seeking a dedicated Night Care Assistant for Ashton Manor Care Home in Lancaster. The role involves providing compassionate, person-centred care throughout night shifts, maintaining residents' dignity and safety in a luxury, supportive setting.

You will participate in wellbeing and safety checks, assist with personal care, and work with the team to ensure a consistent, high standard of care during the night. Previous dementia care experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dementia care, residential care or similar setting.
• Compassionate, person-centred approach to care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of dignity, respect and confidentiality.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality person-centred care throughout the night.
• Support residents with personal care while promoting dignity and independence.
• Carry out regular wellbeing and safety checks.
• Provide comfort, reassurance and emotional support.
• Respond to residents' individual care needs during the night.
• Maintain accurate records and report concerns.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of care.
• Contribute to a calm, safe and welcoming home environment.
• Build positive relationships with residents and families.
