Job summary

Evermore Care Limited is seeking a Night Care Assistant at Astley View Care Home in Chorley, Lancashire. You will work 38.5 hours per week on a two-week rolling rota, with shift times from 8:00pm to 8:00am. The role is full-time and permanent, offering competitive hourly pay with overtime.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality person-centred care throughout the night
• Supporting residents with personal care, mobility and wellbeing needs
• Carrying out regular checks to ensure residents remain safe and comfortable
• Providing reassurance, emotional support and companionship when needed
• Promoting dignity, independence and choice at all times
• Supporting residents living with dementia and other complex needs
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity of care
• Maintaining accurate records and respecting confidentiality
• Helping create a calm, safe and welcoming environment throughout the home
