Evermore Care is seeking a Day Care Assistant at Astley View Care Home in Chorley to provide person-centred support for residents. You will help with daily living activities, maintain dignity, and encourage independence in a luxury 90-bed setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in adult social care, either professionally or through personal experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and person-centered approach with respect for confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal care with dignity, compassion and respect.
• Support residents with daily living activities (washing, dressing, eating, mobility).
• Encourage independence and promote choice wherever possible.
• Build positive relationships with residents, relatives and colleagues.
• Support meaningful activities and social engagement.
• Monitor wellbeing and report concerns.
• Maintain records and ensure confidentiality.
