Job summary

Sandon House, part of Care Concern Group Limited, seeks a Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, personal care, mobility and nutrition, delivering high-quality, person-centred care in a warm home.

Open to experienced carers or newcomers; full training and ongoing development are provided, with DBS paid, pension, uniform supplied and additional wellbeing benefits.

Our 42 bedded home provides residential and specialist dementia care in the heart of Mossley, supporting older people to live well with personalised care. Sandon House has a warm, friendly and close knit atmosphere, with comfortable communal spaces, landscaped gardens and a caring team who take the time to understand each resident as an individual. It is a supportive home where colleagues can build strong relationships with residents, develop their skills and make a genuine difference every day.

Care Assistant Contract

• Contracted to 33 hours per week
• Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
