Deeside Care Home in Aberdeen is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, personal care, mobility and nutrition, delivering dignity and wellbeing in a supportive environment.

You will follow care plans, monitor changes in condition and work as part of a team to provide safe, respectful and person-centred care. Full training and ongoing development are provided, with a open and welcoming culture aligned to our values.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• SVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Our impressive 68-bedded care facility provides residents with exceptional standards of Nursing, Residential, Dementia and Respite care, in a luxury setting.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to 44 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
